Information & Educational Technology presents the UC Davis Internet Tools CD. This CD provides instructions to configure your connection to the Internet through UC Davis, as well as the most convenient way to get the programs you'll need to use that connection. Best of all, the CD is supported by IT Express, the central campus computing help desk.

The UC Davis Internet Tools CD includes:

• Thunderbird - E-mail Client
• PuTTy (Win) - Remote Login Application
• WinSCP (Win), Fugu (Mac OS X) - Secure File Transfer Program
• Ad-Aware and Spybot Search & Destroy (Win) - Anti-Spyware
• Sophos AntiVirus - Anti-Virus Software
  

Also included on this CD is a "Getting Connected" folder with instructions for connecting to the campus network, and the Endnote biblographic software. Software versions will be updated throughout the year.

This CD is available to UC Davis affiliates free of charge and is available from the IT Express office in room 182 Shields Library.
